Brain is an open-source desktop app where AI agents coordinate autonomously to build software. You add a project folder, set a goal, and a Leader agent explores your codebase, creates a plan, and spawns specialist agents that work in parallel.

Brain runs locally on your machine using Tauri v2 (Rust + React). Agents are Claude Code CLI processes connected via MCP (Model Context Protocol) over HTTP+SSE. Each agent has full filesystem access and coordinates through a shared channel.

Yes, Brain is open source under the MIT license. You need a Claude Code CLI subscription to use Claude as the agent backend.

Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Findy ("Findy", "we", "us", or "our") operates the AI-native workspace available at findy.ai. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated by your use of the service:

–Account information: Your name, email address, and profile picture when you sign up via Google or email.
–Workspace content: Documents, messages, tasks, and records you create inside Findy.
–Usage data: Pages visited, features used, session duration, and interaction events.
–Device information: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and timezone.

3. How we use your information

–Provide, operate, and improve the Findy workspace.
–Authenticate your identity and secure your account.
–Power AI features that act on your behalf within your workspace.
–Send transactional emails (account verification, password reset).
–Analyze aggregate usage to improve product features.
–Comply with legal obligations.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as necessary to operate the service:

–Cloud infrastructure: Amazon Web Services (AWS) — compute, storage, and authentication (Cognito).
–AI providers: OpenRouter and underlying model providers process prompts you submit to AI features. Prompts are not used to train models.
–Analytics: PostHog — anonymized product analytics. No PII is shared.
–Legal: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Workspace content (docs, messages, tasks) is deleted within 30 days of account deletion.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We use PostHog for product analytics with anonymized identifiers. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location you may have the right to:

–Access and receive a copy of your personal data.
–Correct inaccurate data.
–Delete your account and associated data.
–Object to or restrict certain processing.
–Data portability.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Findy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us at privacy@findy.ai.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice in the product. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
